Too much waiting. Is the Parade walk worth it? Feel like hit by a Truck

OK. The rules are to assemble at Spear and Howard at 9am, then wait until 11:30 to walk the Parade. But this time it was almost 1:00 when we began walking! But is it worth it? The plus side is that you do get to cruise and socialize with hot men at the assembly area. But to do a tiring 3-4 hr wait to do a 35 minute walk? Every year they are short volunteers; so guess will do it again next yr. But maybe not. Will see how I feel. Rumor had it that Beven Duffy decided to walk the parade, so that did not help in speeding the start process. The real reason, may be apparent later.

Weather couldn't of been better. Did the quick tour of the festivities at the Civic Center, then off to the Eagle, which was packed with tourists, and the regulars.

The Lone Star had a fairly long line out front. However not as crowded, and of course hot men too. Interestingly, on my way out of the Star, my eyes locked onto a man, sitting on the pool table, that I have only seen and met on BearFront. Our eyes locked instantly, and we knew at that moment, where we had previously met. Woof! Hot one. Both of us were not disappointed of our live meeting. But of course, he is partnered (always my luck), but as it was, it was still nice chatting a bit with both of these hot men for a while, and stoke that hot fur.... Gurrrrrrr. Hope we meet again. The only regret was not going out on Pink Saturday night, and not doing a first Hi! (or getting high) at [livejournal.com profile] bonehound's party. Have not met him, but maybe next time.

Sore from the previous day at the gym, and beaten by the pavement and sun, I was home by 7:30pm. Too tired to socialize and fondle anymore...... there is always next weekend :-). And of course Dore Alley Fair is just around the corner.........That one is my favorite fair of em all, off the wall, sex in the streets, "our" fair, with no straight tourists with kids, and one gets to wear practically nothing. And I will :-)
