Biopsy and other rambles
0. Last night, my trainer worked me hard. So as a treat and to heal my craving, I had Steak and Eggs for dinner. Yum! With toast. And to not to feel too guilty, zuchinni as a vegetable. Breakfast for dinner is a nice change
1. No big deal, but I had a small bump, or cyst in the middle of my back. So decided by my dermatologists suggestion, , that if I want it removed, he will.
2. So this morning it was done. He said it is normal on the back, and usually benign. He showed it to me. Cool. He also was nice enough to honor my request to do a double stitch (interior and exterior), so that I can do gym on Saturday.
3. I thought I had him figured out before. I was right. Tall, furry, otter type. Geeky cute. Bleached blond hair. Can we say gay?
4. We talked a lot during the procedure. He lived on Eureka in SF, and now "we" live in Noe Valley.
5. Talked about Mexico, Blue Chairs beach...yada yada yada.
6. He was so nice and comfortable, he pulled up his shirt to show me his scar under his furry chest and nipple from his cyst removal. OY! And kinda yum!
7. Now why can't my primary Doc be that nice. Of course he is straight.
8. After that I stopped at the nearby Starbucks at Tanforan, to get my bag of house coffee.
9. And my complementary cup of course. How does Starbucks keep it's coffee consistent? Are there drugs in the Latin American coffee?
10 Although, my sister was up in Ashland Ore, a few weeks ago. They said the Starbucks coffee there was awful. Tasted like cardboard.
11. I get my Biopsy results next week. He said no big deal. Most Docs throw the specimen away. Other patients want to keep them (?)
12. My foot is doing better. Finally did the tennis shoe thing over the weekend. But still need to be off the foot as much as possible. NOT! I am still doing gym, off foot for the most part. I am stubborn :)
13. I just checked the communities that I belong to on LJ this morning. Man, lots of names have been crossed out! Did they go to Facebook? I hope LJ can survive.
14. My friend Ho, is moving. Roommate problems. So he found a one bedroom on Castro. Yay! I still have a place to crash if I have to. Boo! I have to help move him. But will do it gladly :)
