The week so far ramble (and it's only Tuesday!); Avoid crowds?
1. In spite of being sick for part of the day Saturday, from celebrating too much that Friday night, Sunday I felt pretty good (I sure slept a lot Saturday).
2. Also I must point out, as always, last Friday, the 13th, was a good day for me (it usually is). Great complements from my superior, and I have the building 97% full (so what's this about a slow rental market?).
2. Sunday me, and a host of others helped with the Daddy's Boys Toy Drive at the Eagle. Mark provided lot of pasta, bread, salad for the over 200 people. Even Mama served! They raised $1797 for Sunburst Projects, and 4 bags of toys. Toy drive and fund raising continues throughout the bay area this and next month.
3. After cleaning up, it was off to the Lone Star. It was packed. I ventured out on the patio, but being so dimly lit, I went back in (I never could see well in dark bars.... that being said, that's when I unmistakeably used pick someone up I shouldn't! Ahhh! The old days at the Brig (Powerhouse)
4. The week is going well. In spite of a gurgling stomach, did go to gym tonight and beat my last months PR on the bench, to the delight of my trainer :). I am now back to where I was 6 months ago, before I got sick, put my back out, and then fractured my foot (I'm a mess!). So guess I am not too sick. Or hopefully not going to get sick.
5. I am somewhat concerned, with regards to the swine flu, or just the plain flu going around.
6. Out over the weekend, and knowing a lot of people, the brief greeting kiss with friends, maybe has to stop. Maybe even the kiss on the cheek?
7. Patrick,
tigger1962, is now in the hospital (Davies), with pneumonia as of Saturday. So far not sure if it swine flu or not. This is one of a hand full that I know of that have been severely sick within the past couple of months.
8. Not to be too extreme, and not to live as a "bubble boy", but I think me and others need to have a bit more caution this winter?
