The attack of the Witnesses

1. On my way out of the building, two very well dressed nice looking older women come into the lobby asking me if I know anyone that speaks Russian.
2. I tell them that I am not legally allowed to disclose who lives here.
3. "But we are Russian Jehovah Witnesses. Do you know anyone here that speaks Russian?" they ask.
4. I'm sorry I can't say, and your not allowed to solicit here. Building rules.
5. "Can we search the intercom directory (located out front)?". Yes that's fine I say.
6. I bet after I left, they walked the hallways knocking on doors.
7. Many years ago, I had the same situation by which, they would just enter a building and start knocking on doors. Residents would call me complaining. So I stopped them.
8. Then later on, someone else would come, and say they are looking for a certain resident by name, and continue to go on the site, then knock on doors. I would get complaints.
9. So one day, I stopped them and said, interesting that you are trying to spread the name of God, yet you use lying and deceitfulness, just to get past me? Is that doing the thing that you profess should not be done? Lie, cheat, and being deceitful? Hypocrites!
10. They never came back again :)
