WOW! An ER health care cost
If you remember from my previous post about the trip last month;
after our cruise, we stayed 3 days in Ft. Lauderdale. The first night we ended up taking Mark to ER, due to his post cruise line symptom. He is with Kaiser, so they paid for most, he only paid about $50.00. The visit which included tests and all, took about 3 hour and 45 minutes. He just received the accounting. The bill was $4000!
WTF? What if you did not have insurance?
