Marylin Lana,Bob,Bing,Donna,Lucy,Ester, Audrey, Shelly,Merv, Natalie, Phyllis, Shirley, Judy,Carey,

would of been impressed!
1. Today Mark and I went to my friend, Barry's exhibit. I was not expecting it to be so extensive! Ranging to from clothing, purses, jewelry, furniture, toys, and dolls.
2. If you're into old TV shows, and movies, this is worth a see.
3. Being that is it not packed with patrons, Barry has the time to take small groups to each of the displays, explain history, some fun tid bits of gossip of the stars.
3. Clothing hanging on bodices, from stars of this and past eras, and looking at each dress, suit, you can picture the star in them, standing in front of you. The style of clothing is so matched to how we remember the person.
4. And the craftsmanship is impeccable.
5. So many of the woman's lines of clothes, of the 60's, would look so current today. Kim Novak's clothes especially; with a spin on modernism, much of what we have even seen on Project Runway.
6. Most memorable for me was Endora's layered silk outfit. The colors (which we miss on B&W TV) and stitching and detailing, were incredible.
7. Lana Turners, Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, and even Joan Crawford were all so petite. Such narrow waists!
8. The purses of Lucille Ball, her wigs, and even the two sconces that were on the fireplace mantle in I Love Lucy, were displayed (those 2 sconces were also on Little House on the Prairie).
9.The hundreds of photographs of Barry with many of the stars, that are now deceased is also impressive
10. If you live in the area, and are into this stuff, it's worth a see. It's only $10.
