SF Giants Parade/Civic Center
1. Last minute this am, I leased another apt, to bring us 100% leased.
2. I emailed my GM asking her if I could take 2-3 hrs off to see the Giants Parade in SF, if I could get on Bart, or find parking if I drove.
3. The BART station was packed! So I drove
4. I drove through SF's "back door"; 280, San Jose Ave, to Guerrero, to 22nd to Folsom.
5. Luckily I remembered the parking garage on 12th (near the Eagle). And luckily I was the next to last car that they were able to park ($20).
6. I walked up to the Civic Center. It was packed! Never seen so many people in my life!
7. Could really not see much, but the energy was there. Fun!
8. The PA system was awful. Could hardly hear a thing. The crowd kept chanting "Turn it up! Turn it up!"
9. Even though in short sleeves, it was very sweaty warm! (or maybe it was the hunk next to me making me warm! LOL).
10. So after trying to see the stage (which was too low to begin with), over the heads of the crowd and beyond the scaffolding...........
11. I returned to my car, home by 1:45 for lunch and back to work.
12. I will watch the parade tonight.
