Big YAY!

1. Our small group of 4 have been trying to do this for over 3-4 yrs. But getting time off, and scheduling our time together was never easy.

2. I just made reservations in Palm Springs for Gay Pride, Nov 4th-7th!!! My first PS Gay Pride!

3. We all are able to get time off! YAY

4. Since every single gay resort has been booked up for months, and usually the cost is much, much, much higher due to Pride Weekend, I managed to find a motel, walking distance to downtown, the casino...

5. Straight Motel (XTended Stay Motel), but who cares. We are out all day, and we can get day passes to most of the Gay resorts anyway.

6. We will be driving down (air fare used to be $100 each way. Once, that cost a round trip ticket). But now it costs more than flying to NYC!

7. If we leave early, beat the LA commute traffic, we will be there in 6-7 hrs (or less the way I drive)

8. I really need more time off.... that I'll work on later
