The 4th of July

1. Being the 4th was in the middle of the week, it was a stay close to home day.

2. Up early on the 4th, 6am!, I was at the gym by 7, then home for breakfast, and shower, then hop on BART to the Metreon by 10:30 to meet Patrick, Ho, Tom, Lee, and Lance, to see Spiderman. In 3D iMax.

3. On a scale of one to ten, ten being good, I'd give the movie an 8. Seeing it on a huge screen was cool. Better be at $19 per ticket!

4. After the movie we had lunch at Lefty O'Douls, then to the Castro, for a few beers, then home by 7pm for dinner. I did not want to venture out to see the fireworks. But I did watch them on TV.

5. Having the week cut up this way is a bit odd at work. Lots of stuff to do, and I keep thinking it's Monday!

19 Dollar for a movie ticket??? Wow, and I thought the prices in Germany would be high... for a 3D movie I would pay something around 12 Dollar.
I haven´t seen this new Spiderman, I guess I loved the old triology too much to watch this one.

I max is more expensive than the regular 3 D ($12-$15)

To be honest, I have no idea what a IMAX really is.. I know we have some here in Germany, too, but never have seen a movie there...

It is usually 3D, but the screen is huge, and curved up high towards the audience. So one has to wear bigger glasses (not very fashionable LOL)

Yeah, as I saw the pic of your and your friends wearing the glasse, I thought, wow, the glasses are really ugly, the ones I know from watching 3 D movies are more fashionable... LOL
