"I guess it is true"

One of our residents, a nurse at Kaiser, walked into my office saying, "I guess it's true". She works in emergency. Apparently a 60 yr old man was pumping gas, and his cell phone rang, he picked up the call. Suddenly saw it spark, ignited the gas, and he was on fire. She said his burns are pretty bad. Legs, arms, front of body. His clothing disintegrated. Poor guy :(

Rule of thumb: Diesel burns, gasoline explodes.

I don't know what's worse. The fact that someone makes up this shite, or tht other folks believe it as gospel.

Yeah. Well what ever happened or how it happened, she said he was so burned the some of the bandages just stuck to his burnt skin. Yuck

If it´s true, I´m so sorry for him. :-(
But I guess there is a reason for the sign at gas stations that you are supposed to switch your cell phone off....
