Crisis

Well it's that time of year again. Midlife crisis time, a time of reflection, or a time of renewal, for a bit of change. So what might be my midlife crisis goals in the next 2 yrs?
1. I want to possilbly skydive. I cringe a bit thinking about it, but after speaking to a few friends about how awesome it is, I just might do it. And if I like it, maybe more than just once. And better get my Will in order before that, LOL. I just want to do something different and unique. At least for me.
2. Get a tattoo. Nothing big, or complicated. And placed where it won't sag after a few years. That my come first before the skydiving thing. LOL

Not so much a fan of sky diving, it's that whole heights thing. But I'd come hold your hand when you got tattooed (and maybe add to my own)

A friend that had skydived at 58 yrs old, said it really is an incredible journey. Before one jumps out of the plane you're for an instant terrified, but once you hear the rushing sound of wind, at 100+ miles per hour, and the earth and horizon in the distance, you forget the terror. From the point of jumping to the point of the parachute opening, seems to happen in an instant. He said once the chute is open the silence is awesome. He said he had never heard such silence before. And the views incredible. He said it felt like one were in heaven. As for a tat, deciding on a good one, or one I like will be a challenge. I like so many! :)

Sky diving??? Oh heaven, I would never do that, no matter if mid-life-crises or not... I never would do that to be honest. But I think it´s very brave of you to think about this. I´m afraid of heights and therefore I would be unable to do that but if you don´t are afraif of heights, I think it´s an amazinig thing to do.

About a tattoo... I have many, many tattoos, you know I guess, and just got my latest tattoo finished yesteday. Think about what you want before long and good enough, think about the style you like and then go search for an tattoo artist. I think at the west coast of the USA there may be many good ones. If you get one, show a pic!!!

I do want to get a tattoo - in fact, I commented on another LJer's post about this today. I should prolly write an entry on it.

What kinda tattoo would you want? Do you have any currently?

No tats so far. I don't like a lot of tats, but maybe a few would be good. I like tribal, but I really need to shop and think about other types as well
