1. Thursday just before office closing, the owners, and management send us a request to do a report for future rent adjustments. Their request was not only confusing the way it was written, but also pretty time consuming. They needed the reports by Monday morning.

2. So Friday, our new GM, who was also a bit confused, visited 5 of the properties to help explain or figure it out.

3. After about 4 hrs of preparing and inputting the information, I send it to him. He tells me some of what they want is input wrong? Puzzled, I say to myself no it's not. He told me to call him Saturday, and he will look at the reports, and see what he can figure it out and do some editing if need be.

4. I was so caught up in this I thought that this Friday's Hayward party was that night. I rushed to Safeway to get beer for the party. Rush home. Decided to check the directions to see that the date is the 26th. LOL (I don't feel too bad. A friend kept asking if we were all going to the Edge for a fundraising event Sunday, only to get an email an hour for the event to tell us it's next week). So guess I'm not the only one LOL

5. I did not sleep well, thinking what process was I doing wrong. I sent the reports to my home, and was up at Saturday 6 am to work on it. Thought more about it and figured he was not right on what the owners wanted. Later that morning, I went to the office to see what reports the GM had sent, only to find out it was the exact report I had done. He actually told me the wrong thing to do to begin with. OY. So I sorta told him that, he apologized, we laughed about it. I just had to add more current stuff to date, send it to him and we were done. He seems like a pretty nice Gm. And I think he's "a friend of Dorothy".

6. So I missed gym Saturday. It was back to Safeway to get some food, and a card and gift card for a new FB friend, Jose. For I was later on my way north to Santa Rosa, to Chevy's for his birthday dinner. He just turned 32 yrs old. It was a beautiful drive. The countryside is still green from the winter and spring rains.

7. Jose, who I actually met at the Edge a few years ago, is a sweet young man. His partner died last year, and he's finding it sometime hard to deal with it. Being disabled (vision problems) does not help him, in the job market. He is itching to work. But his positivity is remarkable. He taking classes at the local JC and community center. He is a very smart man! I think he will be fine. His family is close buy and he has a lot of support from his friends.

8. After dinner we went to the new bar, Space XXV, for the monthly event hosted by Santa Rosa Gaydar.

9. Aside from the tall handsome bartender (who apparently does gay and straight porn), the Gaydar group was nice looking a friendly crowd. Met a few people that I possibly met before many years ago when they lived in SF. Seems it mostly a married crowd. Into the usual stuff, like tennis groups, pot lucks, travel groups and the like.

10. Also met a new arrival from Vegas. Yum! He is hired by the new casino opening up in Rohnert Park, to hire and train card dealers. Had an interesting talk about gambling, the business and such. He also knows a lot of the gay rodeo crowd that I know. He apparently was on the board of the Gay Rodeo Association. Small world!

11. Home by 11 pm, I slept in (yes, missed the gym again). But again it was a quick trip to Safeway to get chips, sandwiches and such. I am going to the beach!

12. Tom and Lee asked about going. Of course! It's to be 80 degrees in SF, so of course the beaches will be great> I have been trying to get my friends to get to the beach for months. Lee sent out the word to our group. Either they did not want to go, or never responded. But we went and had a great time! Weather was perfect! Walked the 3 mile beach to the cave. Threw frisbee, and actually saw and spoke to a few people we knew.

13. On our way back we had some calamari, and clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl at Barbar's Fishtrap. YUM, YUM, YUM!!! What a great day to end the weekend! Home by 6 pm, and sunned out. It was early to bed last night.

14. What a nice change this weekend (although did have to work Saturday morning. Boo that). No Midnight Sun, No 440, No Eagle. Something different. Have a great Week!
