FINALLY!

I finally received my new Canadian Passport. Gads! It took forever! Now I can take a trip to Canada, or my off the cuff trip to Cuba (my cousins just went and say it's very nice). Also I may try to get to Montreal this summer, and maybe see whats up with my birth parents . I have a sense that soon they may be trying to contact me (my ESP is usually pretty on).

I just hope that applying for US Citizenship doesn't take too long. Hell "just might" freeze over on that one.

That's cool. Hmmm, Cuba in the winter, Canada in the summer. Sounds like a plan to me.

On an interesting note, my grandfather's grandfather (or great-grandfather I'd have to double check my records) was born in the same area you were.

Interesting. So are they French Canadian? What town?

I'm not totally sure. He was born in Sherbrooke, not sure when exactly. I'm guessing roughly around 1840ish, maybe a bit earlier. He came to Minnesota when he was somewhere between 15 and 21, depending on which record you look at. He was a Civil War soldier, moved to Montana in 1890, died in 1915.

*chuckles* If they were French Canadian, that would really throw the hubby for a loop. They're not his favorite group of people.

Well Sherbrooke was predominately an English town, with a bit of French thrown in.
