How secure are my medical records? The issue of privacy.

This morning I was off to Kaiser to donate my blood for my cholesterol, blood sugar screening. Boy! Since Kaiser got out of chapter 11, a few yrs ago. What a system! Totally computerized. Every doctor examining room, has a state of the art computer. Your records are there. In fact I can access my records, results, reorder my prescriptions, etc, on line, via my password and PIN. Such a streamlined system! So futuristic. But as posted in my previous post about the security of our voting system, who's to say that someone can't go though the "Back Door" and access my records. What about privacy? My future privacy.

I'm so blonde

My gym trainer had be bouncing from machine to machine to free weights to free weights last weekend, as part of superset morning. So of course, I lost track of my lifting belt, and I'm missing one of my lifting straps. So now back to the sports store at lunch to purchase new ones. The straps are small, and easy to loose. But the big belt? Damn!

Obits awaiting

this is sorta sad. Of course the press, who are rating dependent are reporting daily, adnauseam. I remember, Marilyn Monroe, on shows, coming out either drunk and on the verge of loosing it. Same went for Judy Garland (and her slashing the wrists episode),a walking time bomb. Janice Joplin and other rock stars, on stage drugged to the edge of death.
Will be interesting to see what happens. And sad for her kids.
