one of the worst things about living in SoCal...... this "speak" can drive me almost as crazy as "Valley Girl Speak" :)
But in all seriousness, January is generally the month (depending on tides) for the Maverick's Beach Surf contest. Maverick's is known to have some of the highest and most challenging waves in the world. And it is only 15 minutes south of Pacifica, 20-30 south of San Francisco
