Hump Day Ramble

1. Nothing happened with the Conficker Virus. Corporate said to just keep the Automatic updates active on Explorer, and that should protect it.
2. This is not to be a bigoted statement, but we just had two Indian (India) families move out. One has only been here a year. The other over 3. Both apts are filthy. And of course the are deeply entrenched in curry smells. It's the smells that gets me. It is one of the hardest things to remove (aside from cat urine). This happens with most of the time.
3. Even the rent checks and their clothes have a strong odor. I wonder. Do we, that cook standard American food, have an odor that other cultures smell too? Do our apts, homes, clothes have a nasty odor that we don't notice? Aside from that, one of the residents is a 5 star chef, and sometimes bring down to the office some good Indian food to taste. Yum! Yum!
4. Anyway, after carpets are changed, full paint and clean..... the odor still persists, but not as strong.
5. Due to the location of major bio tech industry here, we have mostly Asian, Filipino and Indian residents. So there is a wonderful assortment of cooking odors. Some good (yum!)and some bad, as what is in all kitchens.
6. Still catching up from vacation. The pitfalls of vacation.
7. My friend David (who's BF moved to Turkey), was on the Today Show this morning. He was part of the Tax Question Panel. He looked good. Girrrrl! You must wear makeup more often!! lol
8. Is it 6 pm yet? Off to gym tonight.
