Thursday babble

0. I'm Addicted. To ear plugs. When I lived in Pacifica, I had a view of the ocean, but also of fwy 1. So because of the noise, and even the pounding waves at night I had to use earplugs to sleep. Now I have residents that close their front doors fairly hard. Its become habit to wake up when I hear them leave for work. Like clockwork. So now I am on earplugs. Hearing the sound of my breathing, and heart puts me to sleep instantly.
1. Since my trainer is now going to school on weekends, I train with him Wed and Thrus nights.
2. Can we say tired?
3. Looks like the man I met on DH from the north bay will be coming down for a first visit on the 23rd (unless he cancels or something)
4. I hope this pans out. I am sick of cleaning my apt over and over for company. This will be the 3rd time :)
5. I keep forgetting to log off of my dating sites. So I am figuring out that maybe the active evenings of the week really begin on Wednesdays. Guess it takes Monday and Tuesday to recuperate from the weekend, so it's pretty dead those nights.
6. That Chicago guy, is still looking at my profile, at least 3-4x's per week since April 2008.
7. If he lived in my town, would he be physically stalking me?
8. I am caught up with office work. So now I am helping maintenance put out new bark chips around the complex flower beds. Will take up to 100 bags :(
9. I am so ready for a trip to Palm Springs.
10. And I can't wait for "Up your Alley Fair, Hairrison Fair, Lazy Bear, and Folsom Fair.
11. Let the fair season begin!

Monday babble

1. I drank far less beer (nasty beer) at the Eagle bust Sunday than I usually do, and at the Lone Star too. But still felt tired and poopy this morining.
2. I kept waking up every hour on the hour thinking it was time to get up for work :(
3. Someone (actually a very hot bear) on Bearfront told me not to move to Palm Springs. He says it's awful. He is moving back to San Francisco.
4. But I like Palm Springs. And actually there is quite a bit of eye candy there. And no, they are not all ancient men.
5. Someone on my friends list just posted that he is leaving LJ. It just isn't there for him anymore. He can be found on FB. :(
6. As someone at the Eagle mentioned to me yesterday; why the hell does someone really care if someone is getting up and having coffee, taking a dump and such? Can't someone post anything with substance? All this seems going a bit too far says he.
7. He has a point I suppose.
8. Work is a bit slow today. Finishing up on monthly reports and such
9. One of the residents came in sort of crying. Her grandson, 15 just got his girlfriend pregnant. She/he want to keep the baby. She is now four months pregnant. She wants them to have an abortion, but they won't. They said the state of MI will take care of them. Oy.
10. I told her, maybe they should give the baby up for adoption. I'm adopted. And my parents were wonderful.
11. Off to gym tonight.
12. Tip. My trainer made me do a different kind of crunch. Lay on a barbell bench. Hold on to the barbell, and raise your legs and butt in air so that your toes are pointing up to the ceiling. Raise the butt as high as you can.
13. My abs have been aching for 4 days. They badly need the work anyway.
14. Is it 6pm yet?

another sign of a tight economy

I have an account on Kodak Gallery. It used to be free. Now they are requiring me to purchase at least $5.00 in photos annually or else they will delete my saved photos, and my account. No biggie. I suppose other free sites may be charging in the near future too.
