I don't know why, but this bothered me. Never has before. But I am bothered that I am bothered
1. Wednesday, a man by the name of Brian, called to see an apt (from his tone, and voice, I gaydar-ed that he was gay).
2. So just at 6, when I am closing, he and two other guys show up. The other two guys were holding hands. Not just holding, but clinging tightly to each other and kissing.
3. They are were fairly effeminate.
4. This does not bother me when in the Castro, or shopping at the mall, but for some reason it made me uncomfortable.
5. Was it because my red neck maintenance man was here, and I did not want to deal with comments, and have to either stand up for them, or avoid getting irritated?
6. So I toured them the property. They kept clinging, kissing, holding hands.
7. Even though only 10 minutes from San Francisco, this is mostly straight community (as far as I know... well I sense a few that are not)
7. Now if this were a straight couple, I would still feel a bit uncomfortable, but not so much
8. If this building were in the "city" I would feel more at ease
9. I really don't like how I felt. This bothers me.
10.
rockyotter says if I was uncomfortable, just think how the straight peeps in the building might feel.
11. But good for them! People need to see this
