Some things I ingest
Jul. 2nd, 2009 10:41 am1. VPN double rich chocolate Whey Protein. 23 grams Protein, .5 g fat, no cholesterol, 1.5 grams of carbs. After workouts, and several times a days on on and off days. When in the Creatine phase, I mix together. It's also good in coffee.
2. Amino Acid fuel. Before going to gym. Boost energy, aids in mass buildup
3. Vitamins
4. Oatmeal. A MUST! Take 1 hr before going to gym. Fast breakdown of carbs=energy. Recommended from the serious competitors at my gym; they say it's the best!
5. Vitrix testosterone builder. Increases (a natural product), testosterone which in turn aids in muscle building. Good for older men. Anthony who has won several muscle building comps, is 59 yrs old, and swears by it. (It also increases libido, and semen production! Now that's why I am more horny!). I take this one hr before working out. On off days, 3 pills in the am 3 at night.
6. Eating lots of protein, chicken breasts, sometime beef, fish, tuna, is also important. Veggies, fruit, blah, blah, blah, blah
7. Ishmael, who is competing at the moment (WOOF!) said, you also need to eat, like a pig, some of the bad foods in order to bulk up. Pizza anyone? (of course when in competition, that is a no no)
8. And keep hydrated. Drink lots of water. Especially if you are on Creatine (that prevents the creatine bloat).
