No, this is not some fuzzy testes from some extraterrestrial, but something I keep forgetting to buy;

Kiwifruit. I purchased a bag of them at Trader Joe's, and now have to use them up quickly. They are excellent in salads, with a uniquely sweet flavor.



A reminder of something similar in taste, but sweeter..... and looking somewhat extraterrestrial....
Growing up on the Peninsula, we had two very large Pinapple Guava trees, which tended to bloom late in the year. A bit of chill is needed to get the tree to produce. We would, from November though March, pluck them off the tree, cut them in half and scoop out the sweet meaty greenish substance with a spoon. Very good. On salads, toast.... I need to look for this next time I'm out food shopping. Wonder if the Asian markets, or Whole Foods carry them?

As suggested by theoctothorpe; it is noticeably operating at a faster rate, and of course less clutter (I should of done this so much sooner!). Now, if I could only tidy up my apt as easily.
