This was posted on FB by someone,

"Am I the only one who takes offense to a celebration that glorifies the squashing of a 5000 year religion, by a group of men bent on world domination?"

All I would be interested in, is Corned Beef and Cabbage. Not the politics. Looks like the SF Eagle(according to FB or their website) is not serving that tonight? Marlena's is doing a celebration (but don't think I want to go to Marlena's, again).

Years ago when I live in Redwood City, and Harry's Hofbrau was owned by the original owners (the parents, not the children), food used to be very, very good. If you did not want to cook at home, a visit there for a delicious Corned Beef and Cabbage on this day was a very deserved treat.

Since I ate enough Corned Beef and Cabbage for 3-4 last Sunday (had my once a year fix), I will probably nix the whole thing and just go to the gym, eat at home, and watch AI. But then again, me being a last minute person, plans may change instantly :)

1. A friend of mine, emailed me last night saying that the Dish Network man came by to install another receiver at his San Jose home.

2. Prior to his leaving the tech started touching my friend, saying how cute he was and would like to get better acquainted.... like now!

3. He said he would love to come over again sometime, for a BBQ, they would make great friends.

4. My friend was tongue tied, and really did not know what to say. He is not used to this type of stuff. And the guy was not his type, and has a wife and kids!

6. After the tech left, he called my friend, saying his next appointment was canceled, and would like to come back over. My friend said no, or skirted the issue.

7. LOL!

8. Well, had my friend not been so nice, could he of called Dish Network and complained? Would this guy had then been reprimanded, or even fired?

9. Millions of years ago, after coming out, my friends said this happened lots of time with the Pacific Bell techs in SF. Pants were down all the time!

10. I really wonder with the job market, and the law suit market today, if this still happens often. At least for my friend's sake, this guy could of been less pushy and just asked if he would like to get together sometime after work hours?

11. I did this years and years ago with a real estate client (he seduced me, while his wife and kids were out of town). I felt weird. Eventually, they listed their home to sell through me (that I previously sold to them a few years earlier). It never sold, the listing expired. They sold through someone else later on (only through one agent representing a buyer only. Was a very bad market, so other circumstances may of been the cause). But they never told me, and just sort of moved away quietly. I think my escapades had something to do with that.

12. Then about 6 yrs ago, when I lived and managed in Pacifica. A courier service delivered a package to the office. I was alone in the office. I sort of knew him from the city. We eyed each other then went to my apt for a quick one :)

13. I felt guilty, great, slutty, and great all at once. Thinking I will never do that again.

14. So I wonder if this type of thing, (the traveling salesman syndrome) still goes on a lot. Jobs are hard to find. One would not want to compromise that. I certainly would not venture down that road again!

15. The AT&T tech visits my friend's home today for internet setup. :)
