1. Aside from the usual out with the "gurlz" on Friday, it was pretty much a low key weekend

2. Jim was able to hit SF with us on Friday. We were not out too late tho.

3. Saturday, was a slow moving day. With that awful slight annoying headache (Viagra and beer that evening probably did not help. I decided to try this instead of Levitra to see if headaches would be less. Not much difference. But I forgot to take Tylenol with this time so that did not help matters).

4. I really don't need it per se, but it does make one feel more like 20 again. OK not 20, but 16!!! LOL

5. After shopping, Saturday, I was not really in the mood to much of anything after. Since our weekend gal was not able to work that day, and I had to hire a temp (who we have used often, and is pretty familiar with things), I decided to stay close by, and not venture too far

6. I was also in a bit of a funk on Saturday (still sort of am today too).

7. This Whitney Houston thing for some odd reason hit me. Don't know why. I haven't really followed her stuff that closely for years (in the past I did, and played her hits constantly).

8. And of course watching the 4 hour church funeral/memorial service Saturday morning did not help either. It was incredible and moving. Once the casket was lifted up on the paw bearer's shoulders, with her song "I'll Always Love You", playing, I just lost it.

9. It was probably one of the best services I've seen in years. Possibly ever. I'm not much of a church goer (but I'm spiritual), but after watching, I just might become a Baptist! Maybe if the stupid Catholic sermons were delivered with such gusto and freedom, maybe they would not of lost so many parishioners thru the years. Plus the music and singing is so much better than those boring folk at my old church (and those in Rome too!)

10. I ended up later that day, relaxing and watching most of Whitney's videos , on ON DEMAND, as to catch up with the newer ones. Good as they were, it made me sad to that someone so talented died so young. Her poor family and daughter (hope she is a bit more stable). But the I Look to you really made me sad.

11. So as the day moved on, I thought about deceased freinds, lovers, family. I thought about my own enviable death (the fact of me dying scares me to death!!).

12. To top off the evening, I went to bed, later dreaming odd dreams. Not remembering much, but my mom in dad were in one of them. But death seemed to be in the picture. Odd.

13. Such as odd as Saturday was, Sunday was a bit more positive. After driving my tax stuff to my EA, I then met friends at the Lone Star for the beer bust.

14. With supposedly a Bear Weekend of some sort happening in SF, I figured they would have a beer bust. They didn't. It was to be on Monday. The day I work (our corporate office is closed Monday but not us! Boo!). That's stupid. They should of done it on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday the bar was packed!

15. The air outside was cold, too cold for the patio. Plus the patio was too packed anyway. So we stayed towards the front of the bar.

16. Home fairly early, and dinner consisting of spaghetti with tomato sauce and sausage, I did not sleep well due to heart burn.

17. Monday, work was quiet at first, but it actually got pretty busy.

18. A bit tired from the weekend and not sleeping well, I did manage to get to the gym. That My Fitness Pal app, is actually working pretty well. I am inputting everything I eat daily, including, snacks, the Calories I burn on the treadmill/StairMaster, and the type of strength exercises done too. I have lost 5-7 lbs in the last two weeks. And my tummy is shrinking.

19. On Friday, I was off the chart (way over my calorie intake) due to beers and pizza. But in line Saturday, Sunday (just 7 cals under the max line thanks to the Lone Star), and Monday. Tonight due to the cardio, 677 calories to spare, and I ate the same stuff, if not more, as I usually do (I don't plan to fill those 600 calories. Just good to know I'm on track. I do plan to either have a whey protein drink, which will bring my calories to spare, or remaining to 383 cals, or some low fat Cottage Cheese, to bring my calories to spare to 597. Since I had Cottage Cheese last night, think I'll do the protein.

20. This type of journal, is not that scientific, but is great for at least keeping tabs of what I eat. A daily, weekly, and monthly diary with graphs; a tracking of Carbs, Cals, Proteins, Sodium, and other minerals consumed) of what I ate days ago. Fun!

21. Off to sleep! Nite!
