1. Last week was the usual, gym, work, eat, sleep, and poop. Take out the first two things, and I would have a life as exciting as my turtle. LOL

2. Last Thursday, just as being a day off of the gym thing, at 6:30am due to a city wide power failure just as I walked into the gym. Had to get back to the building to see if anyone was stuck in the elevator. No one was

3. Friday was the usual out in SF with friends. It was a treat and a surprise to run into [livejournal.com profile] urbear at the Midnight Sun. Later on it was a quick dinner at the Mexican place across the street from 440. It was awful. I had gas all night! Poor Jim! LOL. The Mexican place across from the Edge Bar is much better and better priced.

4. Saturday I did the gym thing, did a bit of food shopping and actually stayed in for the night.

5. Sunday, I finished my 2 month gym 8 x 8 program routine. Legs was the program. So today, I am sore as sore can be. Interesting that light weights can kill one as much as heavy weights. Now I need to figure out what to do this month.

6. Later on, I decided to go to the Lone Star for a change. Met Lee and Mark there. I was Castro'd out. It was a nice change.

7. I know many of my friends are boycotting the place since the new ownership and change, but I still like the place. I do miss the big wine barrel of peanuts. And I know many miss the Margarita Machine. They put new flooring down. The flooring is vinyl with embedded pennies. Pretty cool.

8. The place was not crowed as in the old days. The changes which the old timers did not like, so are therefore not going, and the closing of the Eagle, which contributed to more of a crowed going there once the Eagle beer bust was over, is probably one of many reasons it doesn't pack up like it used to. Too bad

9. Aside from that, my cold sore, that sorta of blossomed 2 weeks ago, I think is almost gone. The 7 day antibiotic regiment helped, as taking L-Lysine, did applying ice, and also Alum daily. I still have a small bump under the lip. That I think is slowly shrinking, with the help of hot compresses, ice, and Abreva.

10. Abreva is damn expensive! $25 for a small pump? Highway robbery! The new pump thing is really lousy. It pumps out too much, so you waste it. And when it is done, you know that there is some at the bottom that the pump will not pump out. On the bottom shelf, at CVS, there was two of the old style tubes of it. I bought them both, since these are easier to use, and less wasteful.

11. We are closed at work for the 4th of July. Yay. Friends are talking movies. I want to see Brave. They don't. They want Spiderman, or Magic Mike. So guess I might see those with them, and Brave on my own.
