The weekend and week so far
Nov. 13th, 2012 12:35 pm1. Boo! I had to work on Monday. No holiday for me :(
2. Last Friday turned out to be a nice evening. Friend Jim suggested that we go to dinner in Capitola at The Shawdowbrook to celebrate our birthdays together, which is this week.
3. The place (I had not been there since a child) was beautiful. The restaurant is terraced on slopes, with redwoods, ferns, waterfalls. And at night, even prettier with the lighting and all. We had the baked brie appetizer, and the prime rib dinner. Yum! And our waiter was cute too!
4. Saturday, I met Lee at the SOMA Golds gym (now called SFFitness). Saw a few friends while there. The place is a body shop. Never seen so many hot men in one room in a long time. Lee pointed out the trainer he was considering working out with. OMG. Colt model type. Just perfect. He must have a flaw somewhere? Other trainers there were all just as yummy. Maybe too yummy. I'd be too distracted working out with them! LOL
5. It was great working out with him. We pushed each other to the last and one more rep (we did back and biceps).
6. We later met up with Tom, and had a late brunch at Squat and Gobble. I then went home, and took a nice 2 hr nap.
7. Later that night met up with Mark, Ho, Lee, at 440. Didn't stay that long. It was an odd crowd that night.
8. Sunday I slept in a bit, then met Tom and Lee at STACKS Hayes Valley for breakfast (they treated me for my birthday :).
9. Then I was off to San Jose to the BUTCH event. Don't think I'll be there again until next year, with holidays and such looming ahead. This time there was a good turn out. Met friend Khol, Nick, and a good visit with
dendren, and his partner Bob.
10. After the pizza was served, I left for home for a good night's sleep.
11. Monday was slow at work. Although my birthday day (Thanks to those for the birthday wishes!), I stayed in. Did do the gym, but was not in the mood to venture out.
12. This upcoming weekend, friend Carlos is planning a party for me. A potluck get together with friends. Should be nice!
