The weekend and week so far
Jan. 2nd, 2013 02:28 pm1. Last Friday, did the usual, out to the City to meet Tom (his birthday was that night), Lee, Mark, Jim, and even Ho (he got off early).
2. Saturday ended up being even more of a productive day. Gym at FitnessSF (then after joined the gym). Then later on that day, it was off to meet Mark, Ho, Patrick, Carlos, Lee and Tom, for Tom's birthday dinner.
3. Mark chose B Star, one of his clients. Usually the places he chooses is nice, good food, but most times small portions, at it seems a higher price. This time he scored big. The food was fabulous! A mix of Thailand, China, Burma, India, Japan, and California cuisine
4. Stuffed, we ventured out to the Castro for "one", and all home early that night
5. Sunday was a a late afternoon jaunt to Harry Lit's Sunday Furry Sunday at 440. Then home for dinner watch TV, laundry and relax
6. Monday was a slow day, but we were allowed to close the offices early for NYE.
7. We all decided to go to Bearracuda this time, instead of the Castro. Before the event we all met at Tom and Lees for dinner. Mark made some spaghetti and meatballs. I brought the freshly baked French Bread from Raymond's Bakery. All was yummy! We stuffed ourselves.
8. After we walked to Castro Muni (free that night), and took it to Van Ness, where we walked to the Lone Star for a couple of drinks. After we went around the corner to Beat Box where Bearracuda was held.
9. Bearracuda was fantastic!! We all had the best time. The men! Woof! The bartenders! Woof! The go go dancers! Woof! It was pretty packed, but thinned out quite a bit after midnight. We all left about 2:30 am for Lee and Tom's place
10. Once there we had more helpings of the spaghetti and bread, chatted a bit, watched TV, then it was off to drop of Ho at his home, then for me to get home into my warm bed. I got in at 5 am. Slept for about 5-6 hrs.
11. Once up, it was a light breakfast, then to later meet Mark, Ho, Cody, Jack, Patrick, Carlos, Robert, and Lee at A.G. Ferrari for some wine and cheese tasting. Patrick had won some tix to this months ago, and decided to invite us to this. Also to sort of celebrate Tom's birthday, and also as celebration of Lee and Tom's wedding earlier in the year. The Italian wines and cheeses were great!
12. After it was back to my home to rest up for the long week! LOL.
13. Fairly busy at work Rents are coming in. I also have to figure out when I am going to pick up my car out of the shop. The new battery is defective. AAA installed it. I had to tow the car to the auto shop to have it charged, and be sure it is the battery not the car. To exchange the battery I need to call AAA to meet them for the exchange. Hopefully I can get this done by Saturday. I am 5 days late in getting my car smogged for renewal.
