1. Last Friday was a good Friday. I stayed home! Did nothing! I actually was feeling really run down, chilled, thinking that maybe I would be getting a relapse of my cold and such. So I stayed in. Glad I did! I was feeling really good Saturday morning.

2. Saturday late morning I met up with Tom and Lee at the Castro gym (Fitness SF) for a change. Lee and I did our usual bicep stuff, while Tom did the Zumba class. After we all took the 30 min ab class.

3. OMG! It was like aerobics! Life the leg here, do a plank there, all while placing the ball at the end of your reach here, and there. Balance, and somewhat coordination is what one needs. We as even the really young people were exhausted by the end of the short class.

4. Working on abs and core took more leg work than I figured. I had just done a really hard Leg workout on Wednesday, and still sore this class day, making it even harder. Monday, muscles in my legs, on both sides of my pelvis were so sore and tight, I had a hard time standing up straight! Even my butt was sore, as if I had done lunges for hours. So what is the conclusion? I'll do it again! And these classes are free, part of the membership too. I need to work on this so much anyway. So tonight I will do my leg workout a day early so as not to be too sore for class on Saturday

5. Friend Mark texted me about our friend Kathleen Antonia doing a show at Martunis piano bar. She is wonderful. Marvelous natural voice. So later after dinner, I took BART up to meet Mark. I missed the train, therefore missing most of her show. I had not been to Martunis in a very long time. Nice place and nice change. They also have very good Martinis.

6. A very nice man with a hot beard sat next to me. We started talking. Eventually Mark, Joe, and I, taxied over to 440 to meet up with some other friends.

7. This Joe guy actually somewhat impressed me. He is battling Pancreatic cancer. And has other health issues. As I got to know him though the evening and morning, I come to find out he was once married. Had two kids. And the kids were killed in an auto accident by a drunk driver.

8. Yet he still has a smile on his face. And actually a pretty good attitude considering. As time rolled on, I realized I had missed the BART trains, so we went to Orphan Andys for a quick bite, then I ended up crashing at Joe's place (not sure why he was staying at the Travel Lodge across from Martunies, when he lives in the city. That I will find out another time).

9. Next morning I walked down to the Civic Center Bart station, which was to open an hour later at 8 am. So I went into the Starbucks, had my bagel an coffee. And waited. Behind me there was an old homeless lady sitting at the small table, sleeping. She must of been in her 70's. I felt like I needed to get her something, but then again should I wake her up and do so. In the meantime, I got a text from friend Lee asking if I got home OK. I texted him back. Only problem was, I had been sleeping with my contacts on all night. My eyes were blurry, and my fingers had cream cheese, which got onto my phone screen. Add spell check and word prediction, here is some of the text:
ME: I'm at Starbucks waiting for Bart to open

ME: There is a homeless old lady sitting behind me. Tempted to buy her a bagel. But she may me Klingon and insulted.

ME: Loony! Not Klingon. Lol

ME: Maybe she is a Kingon!!

LEE: A LOONY Klingon

ME: LOL

The lady was still asleep at the table, so I never bought her anything. Last time I did that I got screamed at. She may be a loony Klingon!!!

10. Once home, I showered took a nap, then met our gang back in SF for Harry Lit's Furry Sunday. Did not stay too long, but had a good time.

11. Monday was the usual work. That muscle guy from New Zealand, still is contacting me on Facebook to text dirty scenarios between us and lots of men. Oy! I did not know how hard it is to write short novels! LOL. This lasts about 30- 45 minutes, or until I don't hear a response (ie he got satisfied). LOL. He wants me to contact him every night at 7 p.m. Auckland time and do this. NOT!!!! That is going a bit too far. But it is fun. What do I write about next?? ;)

12. I have dinner with a friend on Wednesday, then the week should be moving by pretty quickly. Gym, eat, sleep, work. Gym, eat, sleep, work.

13. Of course this Sunday is the Super Bowl. I'm planning to get an early seat at 440 for this! They will be serving pizza, and chicken wings. The Harts (Tony and Cody), and the bar will be providing the food. This will be a fun day! Go 49'ers!!!
