The weekend and week so far
Mar. 27th, 2013 08:14 am1 As much as the same routine as it seems always, I was out Friday night to meet up with Lee, Jim, Cody in SF. This is getting too routine! I will have to mix it up next month and do different things! LOL
2. Saturday met Lee and Tom at the Castro Fitness SF. Tom does his usual ab classes, then Zumba. Lee and I work on the machines and free weights. If one is lucky you can park in the lot under the building. If not, then one has to circle forever around the area looking for an open spot. Lucky me! I got parking in the small lot under the building. The bad thing, unlike the spacious Fitness SF/Soma. This is a smaller gym. It was packed!
3. After it was the usual brunch at Squat and Gobble. Getting greeting by the staff with kisses means we need to mix it up in eating elsewhere! LOL. We are too predicable! But the food is very good, and since it was a very beautiful warm day, it's a perfect place to eat outside (and it's across the street from the gym!).
4. Aside from major food shopping to replenish the fridge and cabinets since coming back from vacation, Saturday night was a yawner. I stayed home. I was beat from the gym! So I vegged out, played on line, and was asleep by I think midnight.
5. Sunday getting a late start, I was at the SF Eagle by 3pm, to stand in line for about 35 minutes. It was such a nice day! The sun was shinning warm on the patio!
6. Work has been slow, but I did have a property walk with my GM, as to what things we need to do to prep for the owner visit. should they do. Last year and the previous year we worked our nookies off, have the place look great only to have the owners never show up. So of course motivation is not as keen this year. But got to do it.
7. Monday the weather changed again. It was cloudy and windy. The wind was bone chilling! Arg!!! I want a warm spring and summer!
8. This Saturday I go up to my sister's home for Easter. This year only she, my brother-in-law, and my nephew will be there. His wife has to work (Dr in residency), and my other nephew, his wife and the 2 kids are off to his wife's family. So guess I'll skip getting baskets of candy and chocolate bunnies for the kids.
9. Even though I sometimes feel out of the loop with the kids and all, I really like getting together with them. I really have a cool family.
10. Well off to sign off and go on FB to see what's happening there!
11. It will be interesting to see what happens with the Supreme Court's decisions. I've also been watching the Jodi Areas trial. Wonder if she will be determined not guilty (as with Casy Anthony, OJ Simpson etc)? Strange case. He BF had interesting fetishes!
