egg shell hardness

cellboySince doing the gym thing, I have been eating lots of egg whites. But I have noticed, that whether I purchase cheap or expensive eggs, the shells seem to be very thin. Almost crumble when cracking. I suppose it depends on the feed given the chicken. Does egg shell hardness determine the quality and or nutrition content of the egg?
