Nipple Rings

If I have to remove my nipple rings (and navel ring) next time I fly.... that's not a good thing!

you shouldn't they're not normally big enough to show up

Years ago, I knew a little "troll" who would delight in showing up at the airport with all of his body jewelry in place just so he could make a scene.

I tend to be of the believe that one shouldn't try to mess with them, as they can make it so hard for you to arrive at your final destination in a timely manner.

Actually, maybe it is the smaller gage that I have, but I have flown with the ring, and there has been no problem. Alarms are not set off. Only for my hernia surgery, did they have to come out. It was a bit more painful, having them reinstalled (hope I don't have to remove them for my colonoscopy) :(

The article read that the large metal detector wasn't set off. But, the small hand held wand notived something.
