Trapped in and Elevator for 41 hrs

Should this ever happen, who would you want to be trapped with? Maybe this thing is better off to happen when alone?

Shortly after he gets in, the elevator transitions from [ L] to [--], and it stays that way for 40 hours, leading me to believe that the nimrods working on the elevators disabled the one he was on.

We can see how well the security guards were monitoring things.
