Looks like my had a few post upgrade glitches, which were remedied, by accessing the "System Preferences" folder for some applications. And in one instance, dragging a SP folder out onto the desktop. There is some small difference in the way of navigating thru the system, than there was in the past system. My iPhoto has not been able to boot up for yrs; keeps quitting,and still does (image Capture is fine). So it may be corrupted (like me!!!!).
But with the help and suggestions of the Apple Care staff, this hopefully will be corrected.

But alas!!!! The gentleman(s) at the Apple Help Desk were not in Cupertino, but "outsourced" to?????............................... Sacramento of all places!!!! What a nice change! This is not pc, but I will say it anyway. "So nice to hear someone without a thick accent, and having the phone lines free of static". However I must say that my Earthlink help desk in India, was very helpful,quick,friendly, and knowledgeable.

When speaking to help desks in other counties, I, being somewhat chatty, will ask them how, things are and how the weather is.

Today India is humid (what else is new). Same in the Philippines :-)

P.S. I did end up putting my 3000 plus screen saver pics back into the system (Slurp & Yum!)
