The flag on the flagpole looks a bit odd. Is the center white now a lot wider?

Yeah. I noticed that too. Think its a cam distortion. It doesn't look like that in person :). Wait! I just noticed another photo. Maybe it is wider. I will check it out next time there :)

The flag on the staff looked fairly normal. The flag on the flagpole looked like the center stripe was 3 "stripes" wide.

It oddly is. A friend of mine said it is a new flag, with and oddly wide white stripe. Saw it again last week. Strange.

I thought the original was seven stripes - like the bear flag. Blue-Black-Blue-White-Blue-Black=Blue.

Turns out it's nine. Black-Blue-Black-Blue-White-Blue-Black-Blue-Black.

Oh, and if there was a change to a wide middle stripe, it sure isn't on the Internet anywhere. Now, a triple-wide middle stripe would make it more like eleven stripes tall.
