OK. After reading this, this is too much, sorry. But I'm not editing. So here is the condensed version. The long version is under the cut at the bottom of the page. Don't worry, I won't tag anyone :)

Some random things about me. Some I may of posted in the past (sorry)
1. I was born in Montreal

2. I was adopted at 9 months old.

3. I found my adoptive parents.

4. I grew up in a city called Sherbrooke, Quebec. Lived there until 10 yrs old.

5. Birthmark: I have a birthmark, sort of a faded skin patch on the back of my neck between the rhomboids (I was going to put a tat over it, and never did (yet)

6. Scar: On my right calf - I stabbed myself.

7. I was circumcised at around 5 or 6 yrs old. I have a "French Cut" (lol)

8. I wasn't much of a student. More of a day dreamer. I loved TV, Sci-fi, toons, Superman (George Reeves). I know now I had a crush on him). I was the rare one in my class that had a Popular Mechanics, and Popular Science, National Geographic subscriptions at an early age. Added to my DC Superman comics as well.
When I baby sat the kids across the street, I would purposely forward the clocks in their home one hour, so I could send them to bed early and watch Star Trek (hon, not the re-runs, the real first time thing!)

9. Ribbed and Punched/Non Confrontational: Being from another planet (Canada), I was ribbed and punched in elementary school by a few bullies. That did not cause me to fight back, but pull back. That's probably why I back off from confrontation. This made me more shy. I also refused to join Cub/Boy Scouts I was too shy and intimidated.

10. I earned a orange belt in Karate in 5th-6th grade.

11. I could sing!: I used to have a really good voice.

12. I am related to actor Glen Ford

13. Am and always will be bad at math

14. School I hated: Bad in sports. Elementary and Jr High was OK. But I hated High School. I really withdrew. I was the one hiding in the back of the room.

15. Girlfriends? A few. I had a girlfriend in High School. My first and only sexual experience with a woman.

16. College rocked: I came out of my shell. With High School over, now it was college. That was my coming out yrs socially. I blossomed. I had not come out to myself then, but in any case it was one of the best yrs of my life.

17. Bad in math but have a BS in Biology? Why?

18. Came out to me, and then to my parents in 1984. I was happier, but a bit more confused. I should of dated better men. They were more confused than me.

19. I really love eating out with friends. But don't often. Gets expensive, and most of my friends are broke. I was on my way up to 36 waist yrs ago, due to eating out too much.

20. I like dogs best: I've had 3 dogs one cat and one turtle for pets over my life. I still prefer dogs.

21. Food? Not too picky. I prefer a good steak or fish dinner. Asian, Turkish, Greek, Italian are my faves too. And I'll always try something new.

22. I love good movies that keeps one on the edge of ones seat. But a good tear jerker is good too. And some of the really old ones are good too.

23. I found leather: My second blossoming after coming out was meeting friends that introduced me to Mama of Mamas Leather family. Not only did it give me some self worth in helping the community, but also getting to know a whole bunch of new friends.

24.Procrastinator: Major. I am still Canadian, I have not hung all my pictures after 2 yrs of living here.

25. Architecture, travel, acting, music, all these things I just wish I had pursued yrs ago. These are a few of the regrets. But in all, I am pretty content.

So some random things about me. Some I may of posted in the past (sorry)
1. I was born in Montreal

2. I was adopted at 9 months old. My adoptive mother could not have kids due to health issues. She also adopted my sister 6 yrs earlier.

3. I found my adoptive parents. I was the first child. I was born out of wedlock. After giving me up for adoption, my birth parents eventually married. They live in Montreal. I have 4 sisters. The sisters do not know about me. My father refuses to meet me.
The only thing I have from them, is a gold locket that was around my neck when I was adopted. In it was a small photo of me.

4. I grew up in a city called Sherbrooke, Quebec. Lived there until 10 yrs old

5. Birthmark: I have a birthmark, sort of a faded skin patch on the back of my neck between the rhomboids (I was going to put a tat over it, and never did (yet)

6. Scar: On my right calf. When cutting some paper with large sewing scissors at 7 yrs old, I got mad threw the scissors down. They traveled into my calf, right to the bone. Running out to the yard with scissors in bleeding leg, my mom had to pull them out. After that episode, my short impatient temper tempered (I very rarely have nightmares of being stabbed, but if I do, I have knife insertion feeling that I experienced then. Not a good feeling).

7. I was circumcised at around 5 or 6 yrs old. I had not been when at the adoption home. The Dr. and the priest insisted to my mom that it be done. To this day, I still remember the pain, and the needle down the shaft etc (that's why I am leary of "sounding", although I want to try it. I still feel if even if one is an infant, the subconscious remembrance of the pain is always with you. The interesting thing is that I am half cut. "A French Cut" (lol). My mom, almost to the last year of her life, apologized for doing it, and putting me through that. Maybe that's why she became skeptical of the church and Dr's.

That was to protect myself from the bullies in school. It worked (I now realize after coming out to myself many yrs later, I actually had a crush on the bully Mitch Jacobs. Cute blond, cubbish, and beefy for his young age. And that was 5th grade! I also had a crush on a few girls at the time too. I don't know if I wanted to be with them or be like them :).

11. I could sing!: I used to have a really good voice. Before puberty, they say angelic. Others that over heard me aside from Mom (mom's are prejudice) confirmed it. After puberty it was also pretty good. My dream was to go into acting, singing. Hell, I knew every word, song, and script to Mary Poppins, and the Sound of Music (I was Julie. So you say I was not gay mama?) Shy as I was I just did not pursue it. Maybe mom insisting and ranting about the voice, acting and all of this made me rebel and do the opposite? Not sure. My mom's eldest sister's husband on the board of the Sherbooke Symphony, and their home was always filled with music, instruments. So I had my share of the stuff too. The first and only time on "the Big Stage", was as a page for the Miss New Hampshire contest. Held in Hampton Beach NH. My cousin knew someone in the business. So the women contestants needed pages, the boys that hold the capes and all. No acting involved (whew!). Nice pics, but I hardly remember that at the age of 7. In elementary/Jr High I was in a few plays. People said I was good. Not sure. I sorta blanked out during my stint, so don't know on that one.

12. I am related to actor Glen Ford - I am, though the marriage of my moms sister, to Don Ford, related to actor Glen Ford. My uncle Don and Glenn grew up together in Quebec City, and were close buds, until Glen moved to California with his family.

13. Am and always will be bad at math: I struggled at math all my life. My father being the math/engineer geek that he was, tried to help me, but it did not work. Maybe part was rebelling about his helping me. He was impatient. It did not help. So I had tutors. It helped a bit.

14. School I hated: Bad in sports. Elementary and Jr High was OK. But I hated High School. I really withdrew there. There as in Elementary, I was the one, that played right field. As in elementary and Jr High, I was always the last or next to last one picked in basketball, football, volley ball(well actually I did OK in volley ball). Then why the fuck did my mother sign me up for water polo in summer school? That lasted one summer. I did excel in tennis and skiing however.

15. Girlfriends? A few. I had a girlfriend in High School. My first and only sexual experience with a woman. It was interesting, but scary. I/we thought I had gotten her pregnant. I didn't. I did have just a few female friends over time, in college, after college. We played, I got aroused, and maybe would still be aroused. The arousal however did not lead to sex. Would I do it again? I don't know. I am to afraid to find out. That is one reason I am sometimes a bit conflicted, or coming to terms with my sexuality.

16. College rocked: I came out of my shell. With High School over, now it was college. That was my coming out yrs socially. I blossomed. I had not come out to myself then, but in any case it was one of the best yrs of my life. I joined a fraternity. Did the Hell week thing. Got Hazed, and did the Hazing too. It was here, that I really grew up. But it was here, that my social skills blossomed, and my grades suffered. But later on, what I realized was that it was the process of how to study that I did not know. Why was that not instilled in High School, or in the earlier. A lot of studying really included memorization, which in turn, if all falls into place.. an understanding.

17. Bad in math but have a BS in Biology? Why? Because to please mom and dad I chose a Pre-Med degree! WTF? Slow at math, but excelled in Art History, music, History. Of all a things, I finally got it, and made it through UCI, with a BS in Biology? But the the breaker for all was Physical Chemistry. Weeds out the pre-med students in an instant. I got weeded out and burned out.
18. I work in property management: I changed my life goals, and still not satisfied. After graduation, a much needed rest from the sciences, I dove into a complete change. Real Estate. Survived the 5-6 recessions, until I again landed into a safer venue, property management. And here I am now.

24. Procrastinator: Major. I am still Canadian, I have not hung all my pictures after 2 yrs of living here. I stayed Canadian because the Vietnam war is still on. I could get drafted, but not put into the front lines (office work etc instead). War ended, then I was in college, life, coming out, you know. I got the paperwork, but set it aside. Once I get off avoiding things, I work fast, and get it done.

25. Architecture, travel, acting, music, all these things I just wish I had pursued yrs ago. These are a few of the regrets. But in all, I am pretty content.
