my FB feedback
Apr. 29th, 2009 03:45 pmfirst felt thoughts of FB, after the first week.
1. It is concise.
2. No big blogging on this one. Although some do.
3. It is a slow moving site. And slow on 3 different PC's or Macs that I have been on.
4. The linking to LJ is a good thing. You can post a short diddy on FB, and link it to a continuum of a longer story on LJ.
5. Navigating and tweaking your profile, managing friends, still takes some getting used to.
6. But like twitter, some of the short posts are OK (of course mine are not any better).
"off to lunch with boss", "Just woke up", "Just ate breakfast", "Just pooped". OY!
7. Of course there is good and informative posts for the most part from most people. And upcoming event posts are handy.
8. I will continue on this and see how it goes.
9. If I were paid for the hours of time on my dating sites, and other sites, I'd be a millionaire! I really need a life!! LOL
10. A helpful hint: Thanks to
jackal for his recent post on how to manage friends on Facebook.
