Hello. Let me introduce myself. My name is Rick.

Well, this is my first visit to this unique site. So what do I say? Maybe a bit about me? Well, transplanted from Canada. Born in Montreal, 6 months later transported to Sherbrooke, Que (by the "agency") I was soon adopted by loving parents. (My birth parents, I did locate 6 yrs ago. But that is another story. They live in Monteal). Political strife of the 60's in Quebec, my adopted father French Canadian, my adopted Mom English Canadian... and very hip for their time, decided to move to California, the San Francisco Peninsula, where I attended elementary, high school, and later university in So Cal. I really never told many friends about my being adopted. Especially in elementary school. Kids can be so mean you know. I knew from day one, it was no big deal. But just did not want confrontation with others. Life was good. And my parents were very loving to me and my older sister. I did fairly well in school, bit shy. Well, very shy in fact. High School, I resented, but managed to get out fast. Attended the UC system, and majored in Chemistry (pre-med); but attained my degree in Biology. Did the fraternity thing, party thing too. Life was good in So Cal. That is where I blossomed socially. My shyness faded. And my tan darkend. With a fairly good GPA, but very burned out, I decided to take a break from schooling and decided to go into real estate. Loved the change, hated living on commissions, but it was fun. And of course I was in a expanding market as the dot coms were starting to grow; saw so many famous dot.com faces, while working in the Palo Alto area (and 49ers too!). So as I got wrapped up in the business, I eventually ended up in property management. So go figure. From science, to the science of personal interaction with the public. Only regret not listening to myself and entering computer science(as it was called) in the 80's. Who would of known what would of happened in the mid-80's and today at the time. So I'm still living on the peninsula (South San Francisco), and in property management. For some strange reason, every time I move to a new Mgt Co, or property, I inherit disasters, which I tend to fix, patch, and save, and put out fires. Owners and mgt companies tend to love me. Yet I sometimes feel that I'm not that good or good enough. Well it must come naturally I guess, and don't see it.
As for me I am pretty socially adaptable. Get along with almost everyone. Yet still tend to be a bit shy. I "am" a friend of "Dorothy". Or should I say I am a normal man who just happens to be a friend of "Dorothy" (If you don't get this.....well...... figure it out).

So that is a bit of my life in a nut shell. There is much more. But coffee may be needed. And sorry for this long dissertation. Bad habit.
If any of you have questions of adoption, and in search of parents, feel free to ask. I am not an expert, but have gone thru some of the experience. If your a parent that is adopting, remember, to tell them from day one that you chose them with love. I know so many that find out later in life that they were adopted. This can be crushing.

And if your discovering Dorothy, it can be a stressful ride (no pun intended). If your having a hard time with it (again, no pun intended), always here to give my feedback.

Well how did I hear about this site? Actually many in past have told me of this site, including [livejournal.com profile] urbear. Thanks! And cool! So lets see how this works.

Cheers

Hi!

Your name is what caught my eye. I have a prison fetish and the name cell boy well sounds like you might have an interest in prison, too. Just wondering and if so could you, please, tell me more about yours. I'll be happy to share mine, too.

Well, unfortunately or fortunately, my name, refers to cellphones. I am a member of Mama's Leather Family (long story), and when she asks one to join, you are given a badge with a unique name. Since I was always on a cell phone at the SF EAGLE, when I was in Real Estate, that's what name they gave me. But! I hooked up once in awhile with a man that was once in prison. The big tats on his muscular pecs and back? That was hot! And watching OZ has sparked some interest. When I see a shaved man, with tats, that prison look, it can be a turn on. That *bad boy* look. As for a strong fetish, I don't think so .... not yet anyway :)

And your profile name??? What does it mean?

It is PrisonGuy encrypted using a hexadecimal rotation system.

I decided to not force people to think "prison" whenever they see my journal, as I'm more than my fetish.

I like parts of OZ but overall I didn't like it as they killed guys. I love guys and killing them doesn't turn me on in fact it turns me off.

If you want to talk about prison stuff, I'm here :)

Now that is cool, and a bit over my head :)

Hello there. Just wanted to mention that I love reading what you write. I just too nervous to write back. I don't know why but just am. Anyway, just wanted to say that your posts are truly outrageous! How's the San Fransisco life? I was thinking of going down there to go to college but I think in California there is already way too many personal trainers. Probably more trainers than people who actually want to get in shape. :) Dunno.

Jayson

Awwwww (blushing). Thanks Jayson. Never be nervous. Just be yourself. And just post your feelings when ever you feel like it. It is liberating. And a good release. Not sure about too many personal trainers, the gyms are sure crowded. CA is a great place (guess that's why so many live here). Colleges are good too. Anyway hope to hear, or should I say read some of your words soon. Thanks for making my evening :)
Hugs
Rick

I just happened upon you via a comment somewhere. We have a number of things in common, not least is [livejournal.com profile] urbear. Adoption experience is another, but that's something I'm working out in my journal, or rather will be soon.

Have we met in person? It seems probable.

In any case, let me virtually introduce myself now. Hi!

[identity profile] cellboy.livejournal.com 2009-07-01 10:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Howdy! Good to meet you. And thanks for the friending. I think we probably have at the Lone Star, or during IBR? Also check out my friend [livejournal.com profile] peters_search; he has been going through the adoption search for quite some time, with interesting results

[identity profile] fogbear.livejournal.com 2009-07-01 10:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Cool! Promise me this: If you see me somewhere, don't be shy. I usually need a few nudges to put virtual and real-life people together. ;-)

[identity profile] cellboy.livejournal.com 2009-07-01 10:48 pm (UTC)(link)
I have a problem with he real stuff vs the virtual stuff too (that goes for dating sites too). I'll look for the beard :)
