cellboy: (Bear Flag)

I have a hungry bear in my kitchen

And his tummy is empty :(

This Metlox cookie jar (from the late 50's, and in mint condition) was given to me from my late partners parents yrs ago, as a house warming gift.

I used to fill it with my faves. Chocolate Chip and/or Peanut Butter Cookies. Now that I am into the fitness thing, it has been empty for maybe 2 + yrs. If filled, I will devour the food faster than a bear. Within a day.

Wonder what I could fill it with?

I might suggest what I call "California Munch Mix".

1 part Post "Bunches" cereal (honey flavor)
1 part California Almonds
1 part Golden California Raisins

Put a ½ cup measuring cup in there to dole out your portions.

OMG!!! I adore bear stuff like that!

Raymond is such a collector of old stuff and he has gotten me several things and we even found an OLD Avon cologne bottle with the cologne in it! Of a Bear!

This is so cool!

When I finally meet you, I want to stick my hand in your bear! *EG*

Cool! Yeah my partner was an part time antique dealer.... well, maybe he did it too much. He collected tons of stuff, and was very knowledgeable about it all.

You may stick you hand in my "bear" any time :P

You know, a lot of that orange glaze from the timeframe contains Uranium Oxide.
