This is my quiet pet Chips. He is over 11-12 years old (he was the size of a $.50 piece when I received him as a gift. Larger than my hand, he does have a personality. When I ask him if he wants to come out of the tank, he swims around all excited. Sometimes when he is out of the water, he likes to lay on me and have his head (between the eyes) stroked.

My late partner's brother named him Chips for I once had a huge gold fish at the time. Get it? Fish and Chips? Well I usually call him turtle or turd.
Actually he can be a bit noisy. He squeaks (actually I think it's his sometime clogged nasal passages that sometimes squeaks)

I really prefer dogs, but being out on the go, this is a perfect pet. They don't eat often, don't need much walking.
