I started my online holiday music on Monday. Because it's my home office and I can do what I want. I have a friend who starts xmas music around July. He's just plain sick.

So give me an example of Jewish holiday music. I'll program it into Pandora.

July! That is sick. Actually to be honest I don't know the songs (not being Jewish), but last year either on KOIT or some other on line station, music was played. It was a nice change, and something different. Old and modern songs I guess

Nice! I just typed "Chanukah" into Pandora's create-a-station option and got 23 results. I picked one that included Solstice.

Right now it's playing "Oh come, oh come Emmanuel." Which I always thought was Christmas, but I guess it's crossover.

Had my friend Russell over for pork chops last week. He's a secular Jew. We discussed how Christmas elevated Chanukah to it's present status. Because it really was a minor holiday.

We both agreed that it really amounts to "Oy, what a deal I got on this lamp oil, I tell you!"
