Sock Heaven ramble

1. Rushing to get out the door this morning, I could not find one matching dress sock, save one worn old set.
2. W (where) TF do they disappear to? I would say 40% of the time after doing laundry, there is always one missing.
3. I have come to the conclusion, that for some odd reason, they just vanish out of thin air, and go to Sock Heaven.
4. And I assume that when I die, and if there is a heaven, and I am lucky to go there, I will eventually meet up with the missing socks O_o

Well, now, if there is a sock heaven, do you really think they'd be happy to see YOU again. It seems to be sock heaven would be a life without feet, so the return of the feet they took the underground railroad to escape might not be such a good thing for them.

In my case, I found boxes of them when I moved. (Dominic would hide them when he didn't want to do laundry.)

But, the only thing you can do with socks is always buy the same kind. The same brand/style/color. That way, all your socks mate up most of the time.

I usually try to buy the same kind, but as I get down to the bottom of the drawer, there are good ones, and worn ones (which I throw out later on too) left. Or the good ones disappear leaving only one good one, and one holy one left. Time to shop :)
