cellboyI just received this email. Strange thing is I just saw him on Saturday at a fundraiser and at the Eagle Sunday. :(. He was one of the nicest, most giving, and hardest worker/volunteer I knew.
He always had his silver chalice. His birthday month was this month. These things remind me how vulnerable we are, and that we really live on a thread of life.

It with a heavy heart and sadness that I must report that My Dear Friend Unicorn Escobedo (Mama's Unicorn, and Papi to some) passed away this morning. Unicorn was a force in the Community, he worked hard for so many charities. Mentored many and showed San Francisco what a Unicorn could do. SOMA Guardians (Coat Check South of Market) was his baby and he made it shine. He wore his leather proud.
He will be missed
