Somewhat accomplished
With the 3 day weekend behind me, I feel somewhat happy that I was able to stay in a bit (and even go out a lot!) and start the much needed household chores.
1. My balcony was a mess. With it's facing western exposure to fog, wind, and rain storms, plants, balcony floor, and windows were in need of cleaning.
2. Yesterday I planted new Impatiens, and Lobelia around the waterfall(not turned on in this photo). The plants are larger in person than what is seen in this photo.
3. Hopefully, this year the plants will not get stunted and burned with the wind.
4. When I lived in Pacifica, and Redwood City, having a more sheltered balcony allowed the plants to grow profusely into each other making a carpet color hiding the pots, ground, and reaching up to the rock waterfall and beyond. I hope this happens here.
5. I also organized the plants on the other side of the balcony, and regrouped the blooming Cymbidium orchids.
6. It was major cleaning of turtle's tank. I emptied it, removed all the rock and pebbles, to clean and rinse. Glass was cleaned inside and out.
7. Since then he has been so lively and happy!
8. However, I did the perpetual avoidance of organizing my closets and storage. Uh....maybe next week.
