Sorry if this has already gotten to you. Many of you are on Harry Lit’s other email lists. This is important, because Harry lit has been a wonderful friend of SF MovieBears for the last 5 years, and has been personally responsible for some of the amazing movies we have seen in the past.
If you can help, please read on.
Some of you may have heard that Harry Lit was taken seriously ill while in Cancun with his event Beachcomber Bear. He lapsed in to a coma on Monday and has had swelling on his brain and fluid in his lungs. He was somewhat responsive yesterday evening but still in very critical condition.
He is currently being transported by air ambulance to his doctors in SF and will be admitted to the hospital.
The cost of bringing our dear friend home is $30k and is not covered by their insurance. We are needing to reach out to all of our friends and supporters to assist with this....for the man who has worked tirelessly for charity for the majority of his life...now needs our help.

I know many people moan about the fact that our health insurance we have in Germany doesn´t cover all costs, some drugs you have to pay yourself or at least a bit of the price. But here in Germany one would never have such problems, air ambulance is covered by the health insurance everybody has to have.

I´m sorry to hear, I hope he´ll get well soon again. All my best wishes to him, hopefuly he´ll recover soon.

Canada has a similar health system like Germany? Didn´t knew that.
