Whew at the DMV
1. My drivers license expires Friday.
2. I never received a notice. It was probably mailed to my old address? Have not lived there for 4 years.
3. So I was up early, to stand in line, hoping I would not have to take the written test.
4. If I had to take the test, I would of had to come back... I needed to be at work for 9am
5. I filled out the forms, went to the window, then to the next window. The person ahead of me had some forms problems. And the clerk helping me was helping the neighboring clerk with computer problems.
6. The clerk took my photo, thumbprint, gave me a temporary license form, and said it will take a few weeks to receive my new license.
7. Whew! No written test. And he forgot to give me an eye test! :)
8. Employee distractions were in my favor :)

I´m happy something like that we don´t have in Germany. You once get your drivers license and that´s all. If I had to do any test again I would fail, I´m sure... LOL
