Has anyone ever picked up a hitchhicker?

cellboyWith my previous posting of this short flick from LOGO, it got me thinking. Has anyone ever picked up a hitchhiker?
Was it a good experience or bad one?
How about if you were the hitchhiker?

I never have, although one time, years ago, on my way to the Russian River, there was one of the hottest, handsomest man hitchhiking on Van Ness. I slowed, but didn't stop (never talk to strangers, or pick them up my mom says). I can still see him now. I still regret not stopping.
