The weekend and week so far.....Monday ramble

1. Last week was busy, stressful, and busy. We had to evict someone on Thursday.

2. I have been through the eviction process before, but all the time, they would of moved out before the sheriff would arrive.

3. This time not. She, the tenant, left earlier that am. Only to leave tons of furniture, garbage, uneaten food everywhere, and dog poop all over the carpets for me to step in. :(

4. From the mess, and such, think this gal was on Meth or something.

5. She has 12 days to contact us to move her stuff out (if she wants it), or we dispose of it ourselves (including the car).

6. So the clock is a tickin

7. Friday was the usual "out with the girls" night. Out late it was nice to sleep in on Saturday

8. Sleeping in was somewhat interrupted by the Blue Angles jets flying over for fleet week. But thank goodness for earplugs. I got a few hrs of extra sleep!

8. The biggest joy on Saturday was going to OSH, and Target (Oh my! So many gay men shopping at the Colma store! WOOF!) I purchased underwear, a DSL filter, a new shower caddy, and sink protector for the kitchen sink (sorta like a grill on small feet that sits on the bottom of the sink).
Aside from that excitement, I got quite a bit of winking, gropes and smiles from some hot men on my dating sites. All of them, and I'm not kidding, live in NY or on the East Coast! LOL! So much for dating :(

9. It was getting cold Saturday night. So I decided to stay in. Watch HBO, and relax.

10. On Sunday, aside from gym, Ho, Mark, Lance and I had a great bunch at a new Spanish restaurant on Market Street. Brunch, Canela.

11. Aside from the waiters being cute, the food was fabulous! And well priced! I had the eggs Benedict with skirt steak, served over small fried potatoes, and an Arugula salad on the side.

12. Later we drove towards Japan Town to visit our friend Griff, who just had hip surgery last week. He's doing well. And has two new kittens in the house. Cute! And friendly!
13. After, we were back to the Castro for Furry Sunday at 440.

14. Yes. Today I'm at work. No Columbus holiday for me. It's raining out anyway so being indoors is just fine with me. I just realized that Christmas falls on a Sunday. Figure corporate will not give us the following Monday off. Bummer.

15, Tonight is rest day from gym, but will go and do some light cardio anyway. Got to shape up for Palm Springs next month! LOL!

My husband and I have been thinking of becoming landlords, but I've been debating it. Seems like you had a stressful time. Sorry to hear that.

Well, I work for a management co, and manage this building. So being a large building the odds of stressful stuff happening is higher. Privately I own two small condos, and have not had much trouble with them (I have a management co managing them, which works well). Don't wait. With housing prices this is the best time to buy. If you don't, you'll kick yourselves in a few years :)
