The weekend and week so far

cellboy1. Friday was stay at home night. Since I had early day brunch plans on Saturday, I went to gym, instead of just sitting at home.
2. Earlier that day, at the last minute (2 hrs before closing) our weekend gal emailed me that she fell on her knee at her full time job and could not work on the weekend. Arg! After about an hour of calling temp agencies, it was worked out, and we got a delightful woman, who actually knew what she was doing!
3. Our resident that we evicted, after about 6 trips to move her stuff out came over the weekend, and really didn't accomplish much. Apparently her friends never showed to help her move. I know ideally we are to give her one day, one time frame to do move, but I gave her the benefit of doubt. Well she showed up yesterday, and finally moved all her stuff out, including the broken down car. A bit of patience on my part helped me for sure. Now we don't have to deal with and paying for hauling companies to haul her stuff away. But what a mess she left. She had just moved in 4 weeks ago! The new carpeting may have to be replaced!
4. Sunday, my friends and I did as planned, our trip south to Redwood City.
5. First it was off to Harry's Hofbrau. Food pretty much the same. Mark, who sells high end products to some good new and some high end eateries, sort of snubbed his nose a the place. It's just good basic food. And good too! They are noted for their corned beef and cabbage. Unfortunately that was not served that day. I had the chicken dinner, with salad, mashed potatoes/gravy, and a roll.
6. Once at Malibu Grand Prix, we of course started with the Go-carts/race cars. Most cars seat one. I decided to have Patrick as a passenger. He is handicapped with one leg, and has no Driver's license, so we drove the larger slower car. It was fun anyway
7. After, we played some miniature golf. Fun too, even though we all played lousy.
8. Then after that we stayed inside and played on some of the high tech pinball, and video games in the gaming area. Fun!
9. After a long day in the hot sun, it was time to go home. We were beat!
10. I decided to start going to the gym in the morning. I struggled to get up at 5:45 am. But it took me 45 minutes to get out of the house! I figure I get home too late, eat too late, and seems to be harder to tone down when eating late. So maybe morning workouts with eating less at night might help.
11. It's a bit more quiet at work today.Hope it stays that way>
