1. I am, or plan to do nothing related to Halloween. Staying out of the Castro this year. Last year sucked with the gangs from who knows where. Daytime will be the only time I venture to that part of town this weekend

2. Last night was the usual out with friends, Mark, Jim, Patrick to the Midnight Sun, and later 440. Then burritos at the local haunt. Mistake! Heartburn all night! Jim had it too!

3. Deep asleep I swear I felt my bed shake, and a rattling sound. Seems there was another shake early this am. A 1.5 tremor. No, I didn't have someone with me overnight. LOL

4. Tonight is scary movie night. Tom, Lee, Carlos, me and maybe others are off to Ho's home for movie night, pizza and beer.

5. Even though not Christmas, my Christmas Cactus is blooming (well actually it's towards the end of it's bloom). The odd cold weather, then hot, then cold weather has every plant mixed up.

6. I just finished cleaning up the pots. I cut back all the plants, Begonias, Geraniums, Impatiens. The Impatiens did well this year, got pretty large (larger than here, I just pruned them). The Begonias did well too. I just cut those down also, to about an inch above the soil, due to the leaves getting mildew. Hopefully all these will sprout some new growth before the cold weather comes.

Sounds good, movies, beer and pizza... have fun. :-)

Wonderful flowers, my mother has some Christmas Cactus too. Love the little snail you placed in front of your beautiful flowers.

I bought a long "windowbox" pot, and planted various Christmas/Easter cactus in it. I had it on the cover backporch at our home in South Florida. It rewarded my neglect with an incredible cascade of brilliant red and fuschia flowers.
