The weekend and week so far

cellboy1. As mentioned in my previous post, Friday was out with the boys, and Saturday night was at friend Don's (Ho) home, with friends, in Diamond Heights for movie night.
2. The 5 of us ordered some delicious pizza, had some wine, beer, and a wonderful Pepperidge Farm coconut cake/
The first movie,World Of The Dead:Zombie Diaries 2, was awful. The acting pretty bad. And the script? Was there a script? Photography, was sort of "The Blair Witch Project" style. Anyway, interesting how Vampires are popular one year, and now its the Zombies that are taking over.
3. The second movie we watched was Thor, which I enjoyed thoroughly. Chris Hemsworth, as Thor is hot, with a sexy accent! If you Google his name, interesting to see how beefed up he has gotten in just a few years. Good trainers!
4. Don burned Captain America for me. Not a bad film. Chris Evans as Capt. America is cute, but Hemsworth is hotter. But a good adventure film also.
These two super heroes will be among other heroes in the making of Marvel's Avengers next year.
5. Sunday I went to the Edge Bar for a fundraiser hosted by the Sisters, and the Ducal Court, for Night Ministries. The show was actually really good. Good set of live singers, and great Drag Queen Halloween costumes. I was home early to watch my Capt America DVD.
6. So all in all it was a pretty low key weekend. Gym, shop, eat :)
7. Monday was actually a good day at work. Some of the little kids came by the office for candy. They were so excited and cute!
8. I avoided the Halloween thing all together in the Castro on Sat, Sun, and Monday night. I actually stayed in last night, watched TV. A nice change.
9. Tonight, I have to start organizing for the trip to Palm Springs this weekend (Pride) :)

Date: 2011-11-01 04:31 pm (UTC)I made a "X-Men" movie weekend... the two first X-Men movies, Wolverine and First Class... I always loved Wolverine, he´s hot! ;-) Have you seen the movies? If not you should watch them.
Sounds like a nice week and weekend. Wish you a nice week and already a good trip to Palm Springs. I hope you´ll have a good time there. :-)

I'm more apt to go with Zombies.. on the zombies vs. vampires thingy! Hey .. THAT would make a good movie! LOL! Thing is with me on zombs is that it could come true.. more earthquakes around nuke plants.. stuff gets in the air.. people start zombizing!! LOL! ;)
