1. Friday night was the usual meeting at the Midnight Sun, with friends. Got home somewhat late, and eating Tempura at 11pm is not the best for one's tummy. Too rich! Heartburn city!

2. Saturday being my birthday, I sorta planned not to do too much. Did go to they gym, and planned just to go to SF in the afternoon. No night stuff. I never really liked to make a big deal about my birthdays. Been like that since I was a kid. Guess I take after my dad in that respect. But it was nice to get the b-day wishes here and on FB :)

3. Anyway, to my surprise, my best friend, Carlos, knocked on my door and presented me with a nice bouquet of flowers! He really should of not done that seeing he already gave me a gift card the weekend before while we were in Palm Spring. We have been friends for so long, he is like a brother to me. He is so sweet to do this.

4. Anyway a few hrs later, he drove us to SF, for birthday night in the Castro. Had a really great time. Plus the tenders were pouring me free drinks and giving me hot birthday kisses. Yum! Seeing what was happening, I early on decided to pace myself on the libations. I wanted to enjoy my next Sunday, after birthday celebrations.

5. Aside from meeting some of the old friends, we also met some new friends from Santa Rosa, and had one of those great conversations that last for hours (plus these bears were really hot!!)

6. After hitting most of our favorite haunts in the Castro, we thought maybe go Flippers for a burger then next door to Marlena's bar to see the drag show. It was a good show. Galilea, the host of the show, dragged me and some girl on the stage to have the bar sing happy birthday to us. That was sweet too :)

7. We closed the bar, but in spite of that, I was up fairly early on Sunday, and off to the gym.

8. Later that day, it was off to the Lone Star, for the Sisters, and Mama's Christmas Toy Drive event. This among many to come is an event benefiting Camp Sunburst Projects, a camp for kids with pediatric Aids.

9. The event went well. They raised over $1200, in just a 3 hrs! And lots of toys were donated too!

10. The patio was packed! The music has changed, as has the bar in decor. The music was good! And I am starting to like the new look of the bar too!

11. To end the evening, one of the Colt models volunteered his time and tips go go dancing for the crowd. He as a really good dancer! Of course we could not get our hands or eyes off of him. Ah! The miracle of steroids and hard gym work!

The Sisters and the toys

Dear Santa, Wrap this one up for me!
