cellboy1. What a week! Thanksgiving was fun, but glad it's over.
2. Wednesday night was a get together with friend Carlos (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sfmijo), and friends at his home, for some cheer and pizza.
3. Thursday I was up fairly early to drive up to my sister's home in Granite Bay. I left by 10 am.
4. Traffic was a bit clogged along the way. Never understand why. Minutes later the traffic speeds up,and every thing is fine.
5. The normal 1.5 hr drive took me a little under 3 hrs, thanks to the 3 traffic backups.
6. My nephew, his wife and two young boys (and 3 dogs) were already there. Also was my other nephew. His wife had to work ER till 6pm, so dinner was to be at 7 pm.
7. So starting around 2 pm, it was appetizer time, beer time, martini time, and just a great time relaxing with family.
8. Dinner was wonderful! After eating since 2 pm, all of us ended up as blobs on the sofa by the end of the evening. And all of us retried to our bedrooms by 10 pm.
9. A bit after dinner we got a call from my cousin in Santa Ana, that my aunt, my mom's sister-in-law passed away that Wednesday night. I think she was 83 yrs old. She had Alzheimer's. My uncle is doing fine, but they were joined at the hip all through life. I hope he can manage without here. They live in a small retirement home, outside of Riverside. My sister and I are planning a road trip sometime in January to see him. Don't think he will live long now that his wife is gone.
10. Wahhhha. Was the sound at 4 am, from my cute 1 yr old nephew in the next room. . So I did not get much sleep there on. Up by 7 am, I was off and out the door by 10 am. I had to work Friday, but split the day with my weekend staff. .
11. So I worked the second shift until 6 pm
12. Friday night proved to be also an nice change. I stayed in!
13. Saturday was the usual shopping and other stuff
14. On Sunday, friend Ho, hosted an after Thanksgiving pot luck at his house. Too much food again! But fun! Later on the group ended up down the hill for Harry Lit's Furry Sunday, for his Christmas toy drive for Mama's Family.
15. So back to work this week, and busy as usual with 3 move ins, and end of month stuff.
16. In spite of major eating and holiday cheer I lost 3 pounds! Yay for gym!
17 My sister is coming down Thursday and Friday. I pulled out all my Christmas stuff out of storage, so we will decorate my tree together.

Your sister is a good looking lady, may I ask how old she is? The whole family looks nice and friendly. Wonderful pictures of your and your siter and the whole family.
